We also treat first responders, military personnel, health care workers, and mental health professionals.
Debilitating depression and anxiety can have an impact on all facets of your life, including your mood, level of energy, relationships, and ability to carry out daily tasks.
Our method of treating depression and anxiety is holistic and individualized.Together, we will try to determine the underlying causes, create practical coping mechanisms to control symptoms, and enhance your wellbeing.
At 180 Counseling, we want to assist you in turning your life around and regaining the drive, perspective, and joy you once experienced.
You may experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances, like anxiety, fear, and hopelessness, and the symptoms can leave you feeling devastated. Ignoring them does not make them go away.
We use therapeutic approaches that help most clients experience resolution and relief without having to repeatedly talk about their painful life experiences or feel re-traumatized by reliving them. At 180 Counseling, we can help you identify and treat the underlying issues so that healing and transformation can occur.
Navigating complex relationships can be challenging and over-whelming. Whether you are dealing with conflicts in your romantic partnership, struggling to maintain healthy boundaries in a toxic relationship, or trying to mend a strained family dynamic, we are here to support you.
At 180 Counseling, we will consider your individual needs and incorporate proven techniques and strategies to help you identify patterns and behaviors that are hindering your relationships. We provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express your thoughts and feelings, and work through challenges together.
Grief is a natural response to the loss of someone or something we care about deeply. It can be a complex and overwhelming emotion that affects us both physically and emotionally. While there is no right or wrong way to grieve, it can be helpful to work with a therapist to process the experience and find healthy ways to cope with the pain.
180 Counseling can provide a safe and supportive space to explore your feelings, develop new coping strategies, and find meaning and hope as you navigate the grieving process. If you're struggling with grief, know that you don't have to go through it alone.
180 Counseling accepts all major credit cards, most HSA debit cards, cash or personal checks for counseling services.
We do not accept insurance, but we can provide a "superbill" that you can submit to your insurance company to seek reimbursement. We recommend that you call the number on the back of your insurance card first and inquire about your "out-of-network" benefits to see if your insurance company will provide reimbursement for counseling services.
Counseling sessions are typically 50 minutes of face-to-face time plus 10 minutes that the counselor uses for documentation and planning. There are times when a client may need more than an hour to complete an ART or IFS session, which is why 90 and 120 sessions are available as appropriate.
